Today, the Beverly Fire Department came and taught us about fire safety.
- If your clothes catch on fire - STOP, DROP and ROLL
- Cover your mouth so you do not breathe in smoke
- No hiding when there is a fire, wave a cloth to let the firefighter know you are there.
- Check to see if the door is hot!
- Go outside quickly without bringing stuff with you to a safe meeting place.
- Do not go back inside to get your pets.
- Always trust your plan and the firefighters and do not panic.
